Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors Gets ESRB Rating
The Criminal Girls franchise has always been known for its mature rated content. One look at the gameplay trailer of the JRPG Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors (below) and you can see why. The ESRB recently revealed it rating summary for Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors and they didn’t hold back.
Like the game before it, Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors ended up with a Mature rating. No surprise here. The sequel was tagged for having fantasy violence, language, partial nudity and sexual themes. Check out the full rating summary below:
“This is a role-playing game in which players help six girls climb a giant spire to find redemption from purgatory. Players traverse through maze-like levels and engage in turn-based combat against fantastical creatures (e.g., bats, mermen, evil dolls); characters are briefly shown slashing at enemies with axes and swords and/or casting magic spells to defeat enemies. As players progress through the game, they can improve their relationships with the girls by engaging in motivation mini-games.
Mini-games involve using various tools (e.g., riding crop, slime, a scrubbing brush) to tap on multi-colored icons on the girls’ bodies. During these sequences, female characters are depicted in provocative poses (e.g., legs spread, crouching from behind, straddling another girl’s legs); wear revealing outfits (lingerie that exposes large amounts of buttocks and cleavage); and their breasts sometimes jiggle.
The dialogue also references suggestive/sexual material (e.g., “She’s been groped a bunch of times,” “Woah! You’re. . . touching me with your breasts. . .” and “I guess I’m just cursed to have a flat chest.”). The word “a*shole” appears in dialogue.”
Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors will be released on the 11th of October for the PlayStation Vita.
