Kart Racer ‘Bears Can’t Drift!?’ Gearing Up for PC and PS4 Release

Hit the Track with Bears Can’t Drift!? on PC and PS4

Bears Can’t Drift!? is a classic kart racer that has been out on Steam Early Access for a while and is finally gearing up for its final release. Launching on Steam soon with the PS4 release to follow, the CEO of Strangely Named Studio says that the last PS4 bug has been fixed and they’re just waiting on the Sony quality assurance team to give its final approval.

Bears Can’t Drift!? aims to bring back the fun from karting games of yesteryear with its bright and colourful appearance, fun powerups and fast-paced action. The title clearly takes inspiration from Mario Kart games although certainly does enough to feel different and have a character of its own.

Including twelve tracks spread across three hub worlds and a complete campaign mode with up to eleven computer-controlled opponents, Bears Can’t Drift!? is retro karting action with a modern look and feel. Some early access reviews over on Steam even compared it to Diddy Kong Racing on the N64 which should definitely be seen as praise. Featuring three modes that include single races, time trials and the multiplayer ‘battle arena’ mode, Picnic you can also play split-screen with 3 more of your friends in this cartoony blast.
