Battleborn Now Available…For Everyone!

Work With your Friends…Or Shoot Them, As Battleborn Drops Today!

The next title from 2K and Gearbox Entertainment, Battleborn, drops for every single one of us today with a worldwide release. The co-op based shooter makes use of charming, stylized graphics and a extensive co-op campaign to let players combine their efforts to save the last star in the universe. Players can make use of the 25 heroes of Battleborn and battle through the campaign, or they can take out their frustrations with one another in one of three competitive multiplayer modes.

Players of Battleborn can also expect deep gameplay and customization, with each hero in the game offering a range of playstyles thanks to unique weaponry, abilities, and designs. Each hero will feel truly unique, and allows for a huge amount of replay value. The title’s been in the works for the past five years, but you can be sure that Gearbox has put all their love into Battleborn, wanting to craft a title that has both a memorable single player campaign, as well as an addictive multiplayer mode. Battleborn’s three different competitive multiplayer modes can be played by up to 10 players online in action-packed 5v5 matches, and includes three distinct multiplayer modes, which you can see below:

  • Capture: Teams of heroes face off in a fast-paced death match and must capture and hold objectives on the map to win;
  • Meltdown: Teams of heroes must guide their minions, as they march to their death at the center of the map. Points are scored for every minion who throws themselves into the incinerator, and the team with the most points wins;
  • Incursion: Teams of heroes must defend their base sentry bots from waves of AI-controlled minions while working together alongside their own minions to destroy their opponent’s sentry bots.

Battleborn is rated T for Teen and is available  right now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
