Last month the PS4 outsold the Xbox One yet again but despite Sony’s dominance, Microsoft’s eighth generation home console has sold a massive amount of units.
According to VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending February 13th, the Xbox One surpassed the 20 million mark. The console sold 107,863 units for the week to bring its worldwide lifetime sales to 20,067,310 units. There have also been 116,833,042 games sold for the Xbox One at retail.
When reviewing the software sales for the Xbox One, two games have sold more than five million units; 17 games have sold more than two million units; and 38 games have sold more than one million units.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the top selling Xbox One game with sales of 6.61 million units. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has sold 5.05 million units and Grand Theft Auto V has sold 4.34 million units. Halo 5: Guardians has sold 3.70 million units and Fallout 4 has sold 3.66 million units.
