Star Wars Battlefront Players Get 5000 Free Credits This Weekend, Find Out How

The Outer Rim DLC for Star Wars Battlefront launched for Season Pass holders this past week. The DLC comes with four new maps, set on Tatooine and Sullust. It also brings a new mode, Extraction, in which players must get resources to a transport ship in a battle against both time and Imperial forces.

To celebrate or rather entice players to jump online to try out the new weapons and equipment, EA is offering up 5,000 free credits to anyone who logs on to the game this weekend. This was confirmed on EA Star Wars Facebook page.

Right now, anyone can fire up the game and claim the credits. Too easy right?

You can also log into the mobile companion app to claim the credits.

If you don’t have the Pass, you’ll get access to the Outer Rim DLC April 5th for $15. It will be followed by three more expansions in the next year – Bespin, Death Star and a fourth unnamed DLC.

Star Wars Battlefront launched in November 2015 and has gone on to be a huge hit. Our own Paul Sullivan has some tips to help you survive the game’s harsh environments – check out his article here.
