Rocket League on Xbox One Reaches One Million Unique Players

Psyonix announced on Twitter (see below) that over one million unique players have played their latest game Rocket League on Xbox One.

Originally released on PlayStation 4 and PC in the summer of 2015, Rocket League went on to become a major hit and was recently released for Xbox One with Halo and Gears of War inspired cars.

Upcoming content updates for the game include a Batman v Superman car, and a Championship Series.

The easy-to-understand controls and unbelievable, high-octane re-imagining of association football has rapidly become a critical and commercial phenomenon, selling nearly 4 million digital units, and boasting an active community of over 12 million players worldwide.
