New Obsidian RPG ‘Tyranny’ Teased for 2016 Release

Things just got interesting for RPG fans, as the developer behind such titles as Pillars of Eternity and KOTOR 2, Obsidian Entertainment, is teasing a cool-looking new project called Tyranny that apparently releases sometime in 2016. Check out the Teaser Trailer here:

Although the Trailer doesn’t show much gameplay, it does hint at the game’s backstory. As the official website states, “Sometimes Evil Wins.” In Tyranny, you are apparently a character called The Fatebinder, who has seemingly been pressed into the service of an evil overlord who has conquered the world. Your role involves choice as to what kind of character you will be, and those choices will shape your Reputation, and thus how the game unfolds.

We do have a few screenshots of what the game looks like, from the game’s website. They show an isometric view and almost Diablo-like environments, with pretty visuals.
