Minecraft: Story Mode Premiere Will Boast ‘World’s Largest Let’s Play!’ Event in Hollywood

If you are a Minecraft fan, you are undoubtedly excited about the upcoming release of Minecraft: Story Mode from Telltale Games and Mojang.  Now, it has been announced that the game will premiere in Hollywood on October 12th, and to celebrate, there will be a “World’s Largest Let’s Play Event” where you can be part of the action.

In this all-ages event, the choices of what happens in the game up on the big screen will be decided by a crazy crowd of cheering fans.  You can be one of those crazy fans by emailing Telltale Games.  But keep in mind that tickets will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We also have a brand-new trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode. This one gives us a little more info on the members of the Order of the Stone, four heroes we can expect to be QUITE significant in this adventure.

In Minecraft: Story Mode, playing as either a male or female hero named ‘Jesse,’ you’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon.

While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, Jesse’s friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.
