Nvidia Bundles Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with New Graphics Cards

If you’re in the market for a new GPU it looks like you can score yourself a free copy of MGSV should you consider going with Nvidia who today officially announced that the game would be bundled with most of their 900-series graphics cards. Late last year we saw the Metal Gear franchise return to PC after a near decade absence when Metal Gear: Ground Zeroes was released. This takes over from the previous bundle which included Batman: Arkham Knight and we all know how that turned out.

Taken from the Nvidia blog they state:

Like Ground Zeroes, The Phantom Pain will benefit greatly from the performance and features of GeForce GTX GPUs, which enable more detailed graphics, higher-quality effects, extended view distances, significantly higher rendering resolutions, NVIDIA Dynamic Super Resolution support, NVIDIA SHIELD GameStream support, NVIDIA ShadowPlay gameplay capture, NVIDIA SLI support, and one-click optimal playable settings courtesy of GeForce Experience.

Specific cards and notebook to be bundled include select GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980, 970 and 960 graphics cards and systems, and select GeForce GTX 980M and 970M notebooks. Of course there are a ton of different retailers involved so check here to see where to purchase in your country!
